Business Analyst - Public Health Information Management

• Analyst experience on eHealth and EMR projects within public health/health care organizations
• Experience working with Public Health, Provincial Government and eHealth stakeholder organizations
• Experience working with one or more of the following health standards: LOINC, SNOMED, HL7, ICD-10
• Knowlege of privacy and security issues for the management of personal health information
• Experience with business modelling techniques/tools and structured methodologies for documenting and communicating user requirements and functional specifications (e.g. UML, Use Cases)
• Experience in the development of requirements and specifications for user reports and ad-hoc query functionality
• Experience in facilitating Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions
• Minimum of 5 years exerience in IT consulting, with a minimum of 3 years experience in a business analyst role
• Diploma or undergraduate degree in computer science, health information science, or related field
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Nursing (Public Health Nursing preferred), Epidemiology, or Environmental Health, or related field
