Surveillance Products
ACG has worked with local Health Authorities, provinces, territories and Health Canada to develop key surveillance reports. These range from standardized reports for disease line listing to customized products that outline a Health Authority's immunization uptake, or support analysis of birth events in a particular region.
We have produced health surveillance products that are
used to:
- systematically monitor trends in health and
health determinants - provide input for evidence-based decisions
- identify outbreaks, emerging issues or threats to health
- develop policies and programs to manage health risks, and for health services planning.
Using these reports improves understanding of health determinants, facilitates research, and gives individuals, health providers, governments and communities the information necessary to take action to protect and improve health.
